This has been bugging me and my boss for the last few days. I have this monitor, and at the top there’s a removable thing. In the middle at the back.
Can someone please suggest what it is for?

hole for posh connector only found on better models.
Nope, it’s accessible from the top of the case, it’s about 12 16ths deep, 3 inch across and 6 inch down… to small to hold a 3.5″ HD, but similar enough for me to think that holding a HD (though no connectors) may have been its use.. is a puzzlement.
Also, a popular guess in IRC has been Webcam.. but I just can’t see how that’d work.
